Presiding Elder Rev. Dr. Ricky Fraizer & First Lady Diane Frazier

The Reverend Doctor Ricky Donnell Frazier Reverend Dr. Ricky Donnell Frazier, married to the former Diane Goldston, and is a life-long member of Macedonia African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church located in Gulf, North Carolina.

Reverend Dr. Frazier was ordained a Deacon in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church at the Central North Carolina Annual Conference on November 7, 1993, by Bishop Herman L. Anderson. He rose to the office of Elder and received his second ordination a year later by Bishop George Edward Battle, Jr. at the Central North Carolina Annual Conference on November 7, 1994. Reverend Dr. Frazier has served each appointment with the same commitment dedication and zeal that he freely currently exhibits on the Sanford District.

On November 14, 2011, Dr. Frazier accepted the mantle of leadership as Presiding Elder of the Sanford District by Bishop Richard Keith Thompson, the 86th Bishop in succession of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. The Sanford District is comprised of 22 churches that cover four counties: Lee, Chatham, Moore, and Harnett in the heart of the Central North Carolina Conference. However, June 22, 2018 at the Eastern North Carolina Episcopal District Institute, Bishop Kenneth Monroe the 95th Bishop in succession appointed Dr. Ricky Donnell Frazier as the Presiding Elder of the Durham District. Dr. Frazier, has rapidly become fully involved in the work of the Durham District which is comprised of 24 churches that covers five counties: Durham, Chatham, Orange, Randolph and Lee.
